essay
topic related to vulnerability of human or natural systems. You may use content from the required readings (any module), but you must include at least two new references as well.
You may use content from the required readings (attached), but you must include at least two new peer-reviewed references as well. Course resources that are not required reading may be regarded as new references. For example, if you are examining the impact of climate change on Arctic wildlife, you may consider the ACIA report as a new reference provided you are using content beyond the required reading. A strong paper will incorporate the concept of vulnerability and associated terms that were introduced in this module.

Write a Discussion 1 to 2 pages
Just write 1 to 2 pages discussion , don't need any cover or front pages but include reference with APA format.Week 2 discussion deals with Operating systems and its vulnerabilities. An operating system is defined as the following: A software that manages the hardware and software of a system. It also provides the User Interface that allows humans to interact with the system. As much of the information is either created and/or stored in the system, securing the OS requires a thorough understanding of the Operating system and how to secure it. There are many different types of operating systems that exist, either for desktops, routers, switches, servers, and mobile devices. In the previous week’s discussion, you identified and discussed a system and its vulnerabilities. Based on the definition above, please identify the operating system. Provide recommendations on how you would secure and harden the operating system to ensure it has been configured more securely.Based on the system and its operating system, please research the vendor and its website to identify any hardening guides and documents you may find. You may also research other sources on the Internet for a hardening guide. Some of useful sites you may visit are the following:SANS Information Security - SANS is a valuable information Security resource. SANS organization has been recognized within the Information Security community as an indispensable tool for all security needs. The reading room serves as the repository on thousands of white papers and documents regarding information security. It has templates on creating InfoSec policies and guidelines on how to configure IT systems securely.Best Practices and How To Articles - Here is a collection of Information Security policy documents, best practices, and how to articles for Information Security. It can be used to help develop hardening documents.National Vulnerability Database Repository - National Institute of Standards and Technology is a government agency that is tasked with developing standards on all technology, from IT to non-IT technology and things like standard weights and measure. Many regulations that drive Information Security reference NIST as a source for standard methodologies used in the industry.Based on your research, please list and discuss any operating system configuration that needs to be evaluated and hardened. Please identify the default setting and what it needs to be to ensure a higher level of security. You should also indicate the importance of the setting.

User Interfaces
Early user interfaces were designed with little or no consideration for the end user. This was largely due to technical and hardware limitations. The poor interface design required a specific skill set for users and limited the mass appeal of computers. Modern interfaces are much more user friendly. Theo Mandel wrote about the five (5) golden rules of interface design. Read Mandel’s article located at http://www.theomandel.com/docs/Mandel-GoldenRules.pdf.Write a four to five (4-5) page paper in which you:Describe three (3) interfaces you interact with on a daily basis.Analyze each interface you identified in Question one (1) and assess how it adheres to Mandel’s five (5) golden rules. Suggest two (2) changes for each interface to achieve a more user-friendly design and justify your suggestion.Provide three (3) screen shots for each interface. Note: These screen shots should be labeled and appear in the appendix of the case study. These pages are not included in the page requirement for the assignment.Use at least three (3) quality resources in this assignment. Note: Wikipedia and similar Websites do not qualify as quality resources.

Build your own Weather station-LAB
Build Your Own Weather StationFor this week's lab, you will build a backyard weather station that you will use to collect at least five days' worth of measurements (see Module 7 lab). The instructions for building most of the weather instruments are located here: https://www.wikihow.com/Make-Weather-Instruments (Links to an external site.) and https://inventorsoftomorrow.com/2018/01/22/diy-weather-station-for-kids/ (Links to an external site.) Directions for a do-it-yourself thermometer are found here: https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/measure-up-with-a-homemade-thermometer/ (Links to an external site.). Following the instructions provided, construct a barometer and a thermometer, along with at least one of the other four possible instruments (hygrometer, wind vane, anemometer, rain gauge). When constructing your thermometer, please complete the calibration step, which will require a store-bought one (listed as optional in the instructions).Take a digital photograph of each instrument that you construct. Include in your photo a strip of paper with your name and the date on it. These photographs will be part of your lab report for this week.In addition to the weather instrument photos, for your Week Six Lab Report, submit a short essay covering every weather instrument in turn: thermometer, hygrometer, barometer, wind vane, anemometer, rain gauge (even the ones you did not build). For each one, provide a brief history behind it; discuss what it measures; explain how your instrument works; and explain what information it provides about current and potential future weather conditions. Follow APA formatting guidelines, according to the CSU Global Writing Center (Links to an external site.) for the title and sources cited.
