How many grams of fructose would you need to make 4L of a 1.5g/L solution?

You can begin by determining the number of moles in the concetration of fructose per liter.

1 mole C6H12O6   > 180 grams

how many moles in > 1.5 grams

1.5/180=0.00833 moles

4 liters would then contain 

4 x 0.00833= 0.033 moles

remember 1 mole of fructose = 180 grams

then 0.033 moles would contain........0.033 x 180= 6 Grams
