Parents want all their kids to be happy and prosperous regardless of whether they are
boys or girls. Nevertheless, different studies indicate that parents do actually hold diverse
expectations for their kids based on sex. For one, they expect their girls to be skinner and their
boys to be smarter (Baker and Kevin 340). Even though overall boys and girls get the same
extent of praise from their parents, the kind of admiration they get varies. A boys mind is at an
advantage if given praise at a young age as it makes them considerably more expected to develop
