Choose a controversial scientific or medical procedure from the modern past couple of decades, and argue for or against this technology. First, explain what it is, in case your reader has never heard of it before. Include BOTH all possible pros and cons of it, regardless of which side you support (of course downplay the side you do not support). Your paper should also discuss the issue of these scientists/medical people attempting to perform or conquer things that are usually left either to “nature” or the “will of God.” Be sure to mention in what ways their work reminds you of anything/anyone in the novel Frankenstein.
