As a sociologist, how would you remain objective and yet see the world as others see it? Would you make subjective decisions when trying to understand  the perspectives of others?

Thank you for the opportunity to help you with your question!

According to Max Weber, sociologists can  adhere to value neutrality when studying a particular group of people or making publication of results of their study.value neutrality entails remaining impartial when making judgements.Value neutrality also means that the sociologist must be conscious of his/her beliefs. Such awareness ensures that they can avoid distorting findings if the information they obtain is contradictory to personal beliefs about a particular issue. It helps them to avoid bringing their ideologies in their roles. As an  impartial sociologist, therefore,I must therefore avoid making subjective decisions when seeking to understand other people's perspectives
