Thank you for the opportunity to help you with your question!

(4x^3-7x)-(6x^3+5x+4)

First arrange the polynomial, leaving gaps as needed

4x^3  -7x

6x^3  +5x  +4

Then change the signs in the second part of the polynomial

4x^3  -7x

-6x^3  -5x  -4

-2x^3  -12x -4

So it will be:

-2x^3-12x-4

which can also be written as

-2x(x^2-6) - 4
