Impressionist Painting: In what aspects of European life were the Impressionists interested? Is it accurate to say that these artists were more concerned with paint than with what was painted? If so, why? If not, why?

Impressionists were interested in portraying human perception and experiences There work often commanded peoples' (viewers) attention.

On can say they were more concerned with the paint as there composition violated the rules of academic painting.
