Impressionist Painting: In what aspects of European life were the Impressionists interested? Is it accurate to say that these artists were more concerned with paint than with what was painted? If so, why? If not, why?

impressionists were interested in painting the realistic scenes of modern life. They often painted outdoors. it is right to say that they were more concerned with the paint the what they painted since they were concerned with portraying the overall visual effect of the paint rather than the details.
