Thank you for the opportunity to help you with your question!

a)  The total of the "made" column.'

0.01+0.04=0.05

b) You want to have the 'made' in numerator and total of 'many' in denominator.

0.04/(0.04+0.76)=0.04/0.80=0.05

c)

Here's the basic form to prove if something is independent: P(A and B)=P(A)*P(B)

First, P(A and B)=P(few and made)=0.01

Now, P(A)=P(few)=0.01+0.19=0.20

P(B)=P(made)=0.01+0.04=0.05

If P(few and made)=P(few)*P(made), then they are independent.

0.01=0.20*0.05

0.01=0.01

This is equal, so they are considered independent events.

Please let me know if you need any clarification. I'm always happy to answer your questions.
