From the reactions we can get that 2mol of VO2+ requires 3 moles Zn to reduce completely.

Moles of VO2+=Molarity*Volume in ltr=0.0035*(12*10-3)=4.2*10-5 mol

Moles of Zn required=(3/2)* Moles of VO2+=(3/2)*4.2*10-5=6.3*10-5 mol

Mass of Zn required=6.3*10-5*65.38=4.12*10-3 g or 4.12 mg
