the water velocity is 6 feet per second and the required flow is 10 cubic feet per second; what is the required pipe diameter?

Flow rate=1/4 * pi * pipe diameter * velocity

Pipe diameter =(4* Flow rate)/(pi*velocity)=(4*10)/(3.14*6)=40/18.84=2.12 feet
