During the 1600s and 1700s, there were many societies and communities that
participated in slavery, therefore, it was not a new thing to them but it was also the time
when slaves were very scared. The slave revolts were a group of people who were
rebellious to the slave trade and therefore they became the major challenge for the
system of slavery most especially to the slaveholders.
In their effort to resist, they refused to work because they knew it would be a
major challenge to their owners because the owners will be forced to do all the duties
