Calculate (a) the volume, in liters, of 0.00600 mol of a gas at 31 °C and 0.870 atm and (b) the pressure, in atmospheres, of 0.0108 mol CH4(g) in a 0.265-L flask at 37 °C.

a)  at  31 degrees C:
V = nRT / P = (0.00600 mol) x (0.08205746 L atm/ K mol) x (31 + 273) / (0.870 atm)

= 0.172 L

b)  at  37 degree C:
P = nRT/ V = (0.0108 mol) x (0.08205746 L atm/ K mol) x (37 + 273) / (0.265 L)

= 1.04 atm
