of factors triggering it. It is a serious mental issue that leads to sadness and loss of interest in
many activities that the teen has been previously enjoying. It affects their thinking, behavior, and
actions. Any teen who faces depression can have physical, functional, and emotional problems
whose adversity can grow if no immediate intervention is embraced (Hoare, Skouteris, Fuller‐
