intangible creations. A few examples of intellectual properties include industrial property rights,
trade secrets, trademarks, patents, and copyrights. In any given jurisdiction, there are several
intellectual property laws that are applicable. They provide rules for enforcing and securing legal
rights of the creator to designs, artistic works, and inventions. The aim of these laws is to protect
