A resource based economy is an economy in which all resources are owned by everyone such that nothing belongs to any specific individual. This is usually a society which does not have money and not for of trade not even barter trade as anybody and free access to any existing resource.The available technology and innovation are also used to develop the existing resources for the benefit of the masses. In my opinion, such an economy cannot be realistic as it can have a lot of lazy dependants who would only sit back and consume as all resources are freely available to them.

An economy not based on money can influence the allocation of family resources in that they can be misallocated. In real sense, money is the only resource which is usually properly allocate resources as it can be divisible and to transfer wealth. Without it, the allocation of family resources can only be a mere nightmare.
