Promoting Evidence-Based Practice through monitoring for Point Of Care Clinicians
Definition of the problem
Lack of proper clinician monitoring is a challenge that has for long been posing a great challenge
to patients. EBP nursing in nursing such as infection control, patients' use of oxygen and
noninvasive measuring of blood pressure in children form evidence-based practice problem in
this study. The purpose of this study is to show how monitoring of clinicians on their attitude is
related to research and evidence-based practice. The research concentrated on this topic since
evidence-based practice has previously shown improvement in patient care and outcomes
(Cooper, 2015).
The significance of the problem
This study focuses on factors influencing nurses evidence related practice. This supports
employing organizations to use and conduct more research on this topic. Therefore, it is
necessary for student nurses to learn evidence based practice to give quality services to patients.
This problem is addressed in this topic to enhance reactiveness during clinical practice. This
evidence-based practice is also necessary for training and onboarding new of nurses as it helps in
shift scheduling (Houser & Oman, 2017).
PICOT question
The PICOT question in this study is how do clinicians found in different hospitals ensure
monitoring of patients and how the evaluation of recovering patients influence overcrowding in
their wards? This question is meant to address how patients contract various illnesses due to

overstaying in the hospital. Even though some patients may overstay due to unpaid bills, some
strategies can be adopted to curb the issue (Rofle, 2015).
Purpose of the study
The study seeks to know how evidence-based practice can be promoted by monitoring points of
clinicians care. The research will provide opportunities to these clinicians’ care points to make
them a promising place for healthcare organizations that seeks to promote evidence-based
practice. The purpose of this study is to ensure patients results have improved when clinicians
conduct their expected practice in the right manner. Therefore, the study is meant to help in
achieving patients’ safety, improved clinical outcomes and reduced healthcare cost (Cooper,
2015). The study is also meant to help in eliminating the possible barriers to widespread use of
current research evidence in nursing.
Levels of evidence
This study seeks to get answers on how therapy is sometimes similar to evidence-based practice.
The two are said to be similar since they both encompass more fields of medicine. About the
