Yes I have experienced (or rather been a victim) of unethical behaviour. I was the manager of a well-known pizza store. Then the management changed. People were hired on the basis of acquaintance, rather than ability. I could not do my job properly; my decision powers were given to another manager.The store then failed its inspection. A meeting was held in which I pointed out the malpractices taking place. I was then given more power again and asked to make sure the store would pass inspection next time. I was also told I would get a bonus of $800 if it passed well. When it did pass, the money was given to the other manager instead of me. I left the company and was allowed to go.
Now the store has failed again and they are asking me to return.
The company's fault was that it did not assess its personnel properly and had to pay for thinking that anyone could handle such a difficult store.
