(Research plan) Misdiagnosis of child behavior by kindergarten teachers and its impact on children Diagnosis is the most important stage in the development of the treatment plan in all clinical and guidance areas. Based on what is diagnosed, the intervention plan is designed to limit the behaviors or problems that are being diagnosed. Therefore, the issue of diagnosis and its mistakes became a thorny issue in the field of psychological studies in general and in the study of children's problems in particular. Diagnosis in the field of childhood is one of the most difficult processes, especially if it is related to the diagnosis of behaviors or behavioral problems or even assessment of cognitive aspects. Research Problem The problem of the present research stems from the reality of the field of education in kindergartens and the experience of field training with the students. It is noted that the students do not know the diagnosis of the different children. Each child may raise doubts that he is autistic and the opposite of the normal child with movement and active vitality may call him a distracted child and hyperactivity because the students believe that every child who produces unusual behaviors is an unusual child due to integration in kindergarten classes. Therefore, researchers found the importance of exposure to this subject to know the seriousness of misdiagnosis of the cases of children in some kindergartens. Thus, the current research problem is to study the very important issue of diagnosing the behavior of children in kindergartens. This stage is considered one of the most influential ages in the construction of the child's personality. Hence the importance of the current research summarize in the following points: - Identify the wrong diagnosis patterns / forms practiced by kindergarten teachers in diagnosing the behavior of a child in the kindergarten stage. - This research is one of the critical attempts to identify the theoretical and practical impact of one of the important steps in the development of treatment programs or guidance or behavioral modification programs, namely the diagnosis phase. The present research is concerned with a significant sample of the children's sample in the kindergarten phase. If the early detection of any behavioral problem is easy to solve, if the problem is diagnosed in the wrong way, the problem is exacerbated during the following age stages to become anti-social personality disorders. Research Terms Diagnosis: Procedural wrong diagnosis Children’s’ behavior Procedures Children behavior Research method: The current research relies on an analytical descriptive approach based on knowledge monitoring, analysis and data monitoring to extract the logical relationship and the affective value of each variable studied. Research sample The sample of the current research is in a sample of kindergarten stage parameters, and a sample of children in this stage are randomized according to random selection criteria, provided that this sample is representative of the research community. Research tools Preparing a list of behavioral aspects of children in the kindergarten stage. Current search tools are: - A questionnaire for kindergarten teachers on diagnostic patterns and procedures used in diagnosing the behavior of children at this stage. Brief information about the study
The process of child development sees the child undergo various stage which prepares
them for the next step. Kindergarten is one of the steps that children have to experience during
their development process. During the stage, children are under the watch of their teachers who
to a great extent influence the course of their development. Some of the roles that the
kindergarten teacher plays are to identify some of the challenges that the children are facing then
engage the necessary stakeholder including the child’s guardian to ensure the adoption of the
correct measures. As the children are developing, they may engage in different behaviors for
different reasons. It is upon the role of the teacher to assess the type of behavior for a child and
then deduce why reasons why the child could engage in such behavior. Inadequate training, the
lack of experience as well as a human error may at times cause the teacher to misdiagnose the
behavior of a child. The diagnosis will then cause the teacher and other stakeholders to adopt the
wrong method in a bid to correct such behavior. The misdiagnosis and the adoption of the wrong
behavior adversely affect the child development process. The study will identify the effects of
child behavior misdiagnosis as well as the available means through which it can be corrected....
