Impact of race and cultural/ethnic heritage on a person’s identity
Introduction
Race, culture as well as ethnicity are multifaceted concepts which are complex and can
impact a person’s life in many different ways. This is usually attributed to the fact that they are
imprinted on a person from the day they are born. As one grows up, they begin to associate with

be discussed. Additionally, ways in which race or ethnic/cultural heritage contributes to my
experience as a human being, how I view yourself as well as how I interact with others will be
discussed as well.
