i cant figure out how to find the hyperbole and vertices of x squared over 25 minus y squared over 16 equals 1

Thank you for the opportunity to help you with your question!

the hyperbola formula is

(x2-xo2)/a2-(y2-yo2)/b2=1

from the equation

x2/25-y2/16=1

it can be seen that a2=25  and b2=16 , thus a = 5

And xo= 0 ,yo=0

This means it is a Hyperbola whose principal axis is the x axis and the vertices are (a,yo) and (-a,yo)

So the vertices are (5,0) and (-5,0).

Please let me know if you need any clarification. I'm always happy to answer your questions.
