For this assignment you will practice reviewing student work. Look at a piece of student work, and then write a 2 page reflection on your assessment of this work. Scan the work, if you can, and submit as an attachment. Please include the following points:
- What protocol did you use to assess this student's work?
- Did you get this protocol from the Looking at Student Work website?
- Is it a rubric or protocol that you have developed or one that your school or district uses?
- How would you specifically tailor your instruction for this student after looking at his/her work?
- During your review be sure to emphasize literacy, including written expression, vocabulary, grammar, etc.
