In this assignment, you will assess your
personal wellness and develop a plan to prevent personal and
professional stress and burnout. The personal wellness plan should
outline how you will practice physical, cognitive, emotional, and
spiritual self-care throughout your duration in the clinical mental
health counseling (CMHC) program and beyond. Personal counseling may be
one part of a wellness plan. This program focuses on personal and
professional growth and at times, you may recognize (or faculty may
point out) the need for personal growth as you move through the program.

Develop a personal
wellness plan based on the results of your self-care assessment. Your
plan should discuss the area in which you consider yourself most healthy
and describe how you will improve your level of wellness in two areas.
Your final product will be a 3- to 5-page
Microsoft Word document written in APA format, using at least three
scholarly sources. Your paper should be written in a clear, concise, and
organized manner; demonstrate ethical scholarship in accurate
representation and attribution of sources; and display accurate
spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
