Introduction
A data breach takes place at Target, which sees over 40 million people lose their cards,
and have their information exposed. The incident is conducted by a criminal group that was
using a particular malware, to get hold of the data of the customers, hence exposing their bank
details. It, therefore, led to a lot of caution being taken on the part of the financial institutions,
who believe that more measures could have been taken, to prevent such an incident from
happening.
