I have been exposed to domestic violence and school riots because of a death of a student that was never investigated. The two scenarios were not very much pleasant since it resulted to people being hurt seriously and it left permanent scars to most individuals.

Crime is the act where one violates any law that has consequences like being punished by the court while violence is an act that involves the application of force physically that result in serious consequences like being hurt or even killed and sometimes damage to property and oneself.

The best strategies to apply in avoiding violence are forming an attachment during childhood years with parents or any guardian to grow happy and healthy. Abandoned children tend to be violent in future since they did not get proper care while young. The other strategy is to have a conscience and know what is good and what is bad. In addition, to know how to calculate the level of damage that would result if exposed to this violence. Lastly, developing an anger relief technique is the best way to combat violence. For example, when someone upsets you and you feel like violence would erupt soon, one can opt to listen to your favorite music that soothes and reminds you of good times. Avoiding violence also gives you a clear conscience hence it is god to avoid violence at all cost.

There is no such thing as victimless crimes even though prostitution is a crime and when the issue is not resolved, the society becomes the victim and this leads to serious infections and even economic deprivation. Therefore, all crimes have consequences and there are victims in every crime committed.
