Write your own speech for your “speaking.” Make it one that a speaker for the dead might give, and then give one you think would really be given. For example, I hope that the speaker will say I’m a wonderful wife, mother, teacher, sister, and friend. But in reality, I don’t think I’ll be able to escape accusations of the torture I used to put my little sister through.
