In a poll, respondents were asked if they have traveled to Europe. 68 respondents indicated that they have traveled to Europe and 124 respondents said that they have not traveled to Europe. If one of these respondents is randomly selected, what is the probability of getting someone who has traveled to Europe?

Just as in the previous question

P= X/T

or for with percentage

P(%)= (X/T)*100

This time we must calculate for T, the total amount of people in the survey.

T= 68+124

T=192

Now that we know the total we can calculate as usual, where X=68, the number of people reported to have traveled from Europe

P(%)= (68/192)*100

Answer P(%)= 35.4% or P=.354
