Think about how your audience could identify with your appeals to ethos. Draw from your research for some examples.
  10. What kind of action do you think would advance your cause or present a reasonable solution to the problem your issue creates? What are the steps to taking this action? How will you incentivize your audience to agree with this action? What obstacles still stand in your way, and what can you do to remove them?

  12. Your project 3 assignment requires 3 new sources you have not previously used, based on your preliminary responses to these questions, in what direction should your expanded research take you? Specifically, in what areas do you need more evidence to deliver an effective multimodal argument?

1.

Why is the issue that you have been researching essential and timely? What kind of

problem does this issue create? Name the point, and drawing from your previous research,
provide some context as to its background, and briefly note what you already know about
this issue.
The effect of pesticides is essential in the world at this moment, because it provides a
guideline on what the people in charge of the animals have to take care of so that the animals
they are looking after are out of risk caused by pesticides. Some of the issues that come about
due to exposure to these pesticides include illnesses such as cancer, endocrine disruption, and
reproductive effects, coupled with kidney and liver damages. On endocrine disruption, for
instance, the primary cause is the hormone-mimicking pesticides, which ultimately lead to an
abnormal reproductive, metabolic and neuroendocrine system in the animal and its offspring.
Researching this, there are a wide variety of species that have been used to model subtle
outcomes in the different stages of development of an animal.
2. What persons or organizations would be (or are currently) interested in this issue? Why?
Who would not be interested in this issue? Why not?
The people that would be most interested in this issue are people who keep livestock and
are therefore concerned with the average maturity and functioning of the animals. Organizations
such as WHO is also concerned with such an issue, as they are in charge of looking after the
health of human beings and hence ensure that the animals that they consume are safe for their
health. The kind of people not interested in this issue would be people such as the ones working
in the art industry, since their field is very different from this, and does not affect any area of
their daily work.
