Power and influence.

Our attitude is determined by the perception we have towards something.
It might not be based on facts but the perception will always affect the way
we react. For example, through religion we are able to understand that life
is God given and abortion is a crime. Also, through our parents teachings
when we are young, we are able to grow knowing the difference between
good and bad things.

Our belief system comprises of the things that we have clear
understanding about them. its through our belief system that we agree
with someone's opinion or we differ. For example, if someone believes
that education is the key to success, it might be difficult to convince them
that talent can pay when utilized well.

Power and influence.

With the influence of those in power, human beings can be destructive as
they try to implement the instructions of their leaders. They do so willingly
without being forced due to the respect of authority. For example, solders
can open fire and shoot fellow citizens when implementing the instructions
of the commander in chief of the armed forces.

Our relationships affects how powerful we feel we are. Power affects the
respect we have for others. When interacting with people, the principle of

control and those who can control us. For example, when interacting with
an employer who exerts power over us we react differently as compared to
when interacting with friends whom we have equal power.

choices that were not in our interest. For example, if a person does not
like visiting social places but he has friends who visit regularly. His power
to control them might be limited and end up following them.

To be able to persuade others, we must understand their beliefs,
attitudes, and their values. The aim of persuasion is to make the person
to absorb our thinking, behavior, feeling and reason together with us. For
example, if we capture somebody's thinking they will have the same
attitude like us and will be able to sort favorable to unfavorable conditions
in the same way.

Power and influence.

Our values represent the ideas which we believe to be useful in our lives.
its through our values that we are able to determine whether something is
right or wrong, the people we should associate with, the ones we should
listen to and how we should live. For example, values help us in
