Differences between groups and teams and contributing factors to a team

In teams, achieving common purpose and goals binds and connects individuals while in
groups individuals are responsible for their efforts in completing a task. In teams, accountability
is individually or mutually while in groups accountability is at an individual level (Guillaume et
al., 2017). A team is contributed by cooperation among individuals, commitment to achieving a
common purpose and good communication to allow a flow of information. I worked in a team
whose common goal was to develop a website to facilitate customers to make purchase orders
online. In the team, I recognized the benefits of teamwork such as brainstorming facilitated
creative ways that lead to the success of the website.
