When the disease germs attack the body, the immune system recognizes them and in
return releases antibodies which are used to fight them. Even so, the antibodies do not have the
capability of responding fast enough so that they can prevent the individual from getting sick.
It is only in subsequent attacks that the antibodies will be able to protect the body without
the person getting sick. That is because they have experience in fighting different forms of
germs.
