Describe an example of a workplace or personal email communication in
which the sender (you or someone else) did not pay close attention to
audience and context. Ascertain the consequences. Determine how the
miscommunication might have been avoided.

The sender: HR manager
Audience: Recipients of email for a large manufacturing facility in Mexico
Context: The subject line was "Meeting Today: Nova". Being in Mexico, the audience understood this to mean "No va", which is a command in Spanish that means "Don't go". The sender meant to communicate that the subject of today's meeting was project Nova, but the audience understood it quite differently. No one showed up.
There were no drastic consequences, other than a missed opportunity to have a meeting. The sender really ought to have considered the language differences.
