EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
❖This proposal is for a coffee shop business. The coffee shop will operate in Town
Ketta at the ground flow of Coffee house, northern part of the town. We will require
$500,000 initial capital.
❖The business will open from 5.00 AM to 11.00 PM everyday of the week.
❖Most basic product that a customer should never miss is a cup of coffee. We will also
have muffins, cookies, cakes, fast snacks and fast drinks.
❖There will be wide range of coffee products in the shop. All the different tastes of
coffee will be offered at the coffee shop.
❖Our main target is to have all the coffee lovers appreciate our brands of coffee.
❖We will trade as “Brew Coffee”
INFORMATION ABOUT THE INDUSTRY
• Coffee consumption has been at high levels since in the 1990s. In our country, it
is the most consumed beverage and the source of caffeine for most people in
the country.
• In the offices, in schools, during dates, during small meetings, business meetings
and many other functions, coffee is the most preferred drink.
• Our interest in offering a coffee shop in town Ketta is because there are few
coffee shops in the town that offer all brands of coffee.
• It is one industry that has high revenues. Coffee is a profit making beverage.
There are big guns in the industry that have made huge fortunes from coffee.
MARKETING PLAN
• Target Market. Our target market is the consumers of coffee. Students going to Ketta high school
are also our target. Our location suits them as it is on the way. There are various law firms in the
surroundings of Coffee house. We also are targeting them. Not excluding the general public who
we expect to come in for our products.
• Marketing strategy. We will start with huge posters indicating that we are doing business in the
area. We will give out brochures to the public, students and the firms around us inviting them to
shop at our place. We will also have public display ads along the roads in the area.
• Our marketing tagline is “Fast bru – instant coffee – instant happiness”. We will use the tagline in
all our advertising channels.
• The town of Ketta has a local newspaper, we will run an advert in the newspaper to
communicate to readers of Ketta daily that we are doing business in the area.
• We will also have discounted coffee drinks to our customers in the opening days.
