Is going green considered a socially responsible action?

Oct 10th, 2015

Hi there! Thank you for the opportunity to help you with your question!

Going green can be considered a socially responsible action. We live in a planet with finite resources, especially when talking about coal, oil and other fossil fuels. By changing your fuel usage, or replacing by another type of fuel, you are takinga an action that benefits the entire planet. You are putting the planet's needs over your own. Also, fossil fuels are linked to the emission of greenhouse gases, which contribute with global warming. By going green, reducing your emissions, you are acting in favor of everyone, living and yet to be born, so this is a socially responsible action.

Please let me know if you need any clarification. Always glad to help!
