Neacy, this is what my teacher asked back to me when I posted the discussion you did for me. Do you mind helping?

How about the argument that the US is land of the brave? Do you agree or disagree? How would you use critical thinking to make your case on the issue?

I am not Neacy, but I'll write some arguments.

The common saying the US is "the land of the free and home of the brave" may sound true and enticing due to free market and capitalism, but through it's principles and diplomacy the United States does not always represent what is free or brave. Many college students every year become enchained under harsh amounts of student loan debt, and cowards commit mass crimes or murders of innocent people. Besides these grim points, the actions our country was founded on during the revolution does resemble bravery or stout and just actions, and there are also many great pioneers known from America in every field and aspect of work or entertainment that changed the world as we know it today. In today's politics and principles, economic dynamics, perhaps this argument is not so easy to say, but in our hearts and morales, this fabled home of the free and land of the brave certainly exists.

Thank you. Would you agree or disagree? And would you use critical thinking in this case?

I personally agree it is along with other countries.

On using critical thinking, it's simply an analysis of our history along with the ideals and seeing if the two match, along with our morals and values.

thanks.
