having trouble factoring

my problem is 2x squared +5x+3 = I'm getting very confused as to how I am to work this problem please help me with step by step example..

2X^2+5X+3=0

look for two numbers whose product is six and when added together will give  you five.

p=6

s=5

the two numbers are 3 and 2.

we put them in our equation above.

2X^2+2X+3X+3=O

(2X^2+2X)(3X+3)=0

2X(X+I)3(X+I)=0

2X+3=0

X+1=0

THEREFORE THE VALUE OF X IS.

-1or -3/2
