In a crystallization experiment the solution is heated up to dissolve the mixture and saturate the solution with one of the compounds.  When the solution cools one of the compounds will produce crystals.  The crystals that form in the solution are called _________.

Precipitate, as in precipitate matter from a chemical reaction?

I remember reading a passage about sugar crystals and they mentioned the solution cooling and named them as precipitate, should be a satisfactory answer even if there's another jargon for the word.
