Disruptive factor in car industry in 5-10 years
The automotive world has gone through numerous transformations within a relative
amount of time, starting from the steam powered automobiles to the most recent electric cars.
The world’s leading company in electric car production is Nissan manufacturing company.
New business models have revolutionized organizations and to the automotive companies
especially Nissan, digitization and automation will spark a great and disruptive difference in
the industry. Research has shown that the following technology driven trends in the
automotive sector will bring the anticipated change (Gao, Kaas, Mohr & Wee, 2016). These
disruptive factors will include autonomous driving, electrification, connectivity and diverse
mobility. Even though electrification has already been achieved, it has not yet reached its
