Coaching is a way of
training or development whereby a person called a coach guides the learner and
sees them through to obtain a specified professional goal.
Mentoring is more of a
personal developmental relationship whereby an experienced individual, or a
person with special knowledge on a particular field assists a less experienced
individual to achieve the skills or knowledge.
Coaching is one of the
training methods used by my team leader to ensure that each member of the
department could freely attend to all the chores in the office. It was
efficient as we could perfectly do what the leader did in their training. Success
is guaranteed if the training method is used in a particular organization, as
each team would have to do what the coach does.
