help with orbital process for algebra and converting units

Algebra
Tutor: None Selected Time limit: 1 Day

Earth travels in an approximately circular orbit around the sun. The average radius of Earth's orbit around the sun is 9.3 x 10^7 miles. Earth takes one year, or 365 days, to complete one orbit.

round to 2 decimal places (if needed)

a. Use the formula for the circumference of the circle to determine the distance, , the Earth travels in one year. Express your answers in scientific notation.

b. How many hours, , are in one year?

c. speed is d/t so find the orbital speed, v, of earth in miles per hour

Thank you for the opportunity to help you with your question!

a)

 L = circumference = 2*pi*r = 2* 3.14 *9.3(10^7) = 584,336,233.6 miles per year

Earth travels 5.84 * 10^8 miles in one year

b)
Hours,H = (24) 365.25 (1/2 day added to cover one leap year in 4 years)  = 8,766 hours

c)
Speed,V = L / H = 66,659.39 = 66,559.4 miles per hour
