The mental health disorder chosen is post-traumatic stress disorder which results from the
past experience in a case whereby an individual witnessed a traumatizing event. Some of the events
which are traumatizing are accidents, war, and physical abuse among others. So, when an
individual is exposed to any of these events, then they will suffer from a post-traumatic stress
disorder. Post-traumatic stress disorder makes one feel stressed and also afraid even when the
danger has gone.
The treatment which is effective for a patient suffering from a post-traumatic stress disorder
is psychotherapy. But...
