can anyone help me with my Algebra 1 homework? we are working on factoring trinomials.

Probably I can.

If a trinomial is of one variable, of the form

a*x^2 + b*x + c, then it is factored as

a*(x-r1)*(x-r2), where r1 and r2 are its roots.
