Description
What are the differences, if any, between how others see you and how you see yourself?
What are some of the reasons for those differences, in your opinion?
Explanation & Answer
Thank you for the opportunity to help you with your question!
The only way to know for sure how other people perceive us is to either, ask them directly or be told about. This maybe due to the action you portray to the person upon seeing you or meeting you. How we perceive ourselves is all about self esteem. With a high self esteem, you'll see yourself as someone with ample pride. But, someone with low esteem will have his habits dictated by others.
Reasons
- How others see you: First impression - What habit you portray on the first time you meet
- How you see yourself: Pop culture - What you think of yourself through others' eyes or actions
