Rainer Valley in Seattle, WA. The region has a population of 11,500 people. It is a
mixed-race population consisting of Asians being the majority, Caucasians, African American,
Hispanic Latino, Pacific Islander and 1% of the population are Native American.13.9% of the
population live below poverty levels.
Housing: The area has numerous housing opportunities; the houses available surpass the
demands. There is too much graffiti on buildings along the streets making the streets not to look
good. There are many empty lots available.
Transportation: The area is served with well-maintained main roads however most inside
roads are not in very good conditions. There are a lot of potholes and cracks on the roads and
sidewalks. The sidewalks are clean but most of them are in need of repair. The major form of
