Revolutionary terrorism are acts of terror that are aimed at creating a revolution such as
change of a regime while counter revolutionary terrorism is when there are people working
against the efforts of the revolutionaries to backtrack the progress that they had gained. In the
United States, the Department of Homeland Security is tasked with the duty of protecting the
citizenry from all acts of terror whether revolutionary, counter-revolutionary or otherwise. There
have been various instances of terrorism though but the motives have been either revenge or
aggression and not necessarily aimed at a revolution. There has however, been a number of
terrorism acts that have proved to be revolutionary and counter revolutionary.
Some of the outstanding acts of revolutionary terrorism that have been experienced
recently include the demonstrations that were done across the country under the theme of black
lives matter. The demonstrations were illegal and they caused lots of destruction of property in
