When we write ionic equation for NaOH, we show its ionic part, that is OH- . So chromium and cadmium will react with NaOH as shown above and later they can be separated as they form precipitate which could be filtered out.

Above equation shows the reaction of Cr and Cd ions with NaOH, but as we are writing in ionic forms, OH- is written instead of NaOH

I am 100% sure about the correctness of above equation. You may try changing the notation. You can try the different notation . Write NaOH instead of OH-.
