Criteria are a critical part of the justification report assignment. This is an excellent forum to enlist the assistance of your classmates if you are having difficulty deciding what criteria to choose for Assignment 2.1.
  • For this thread, you should:
    • Define the term criteria and examine two (2) ways they function in helping someone make an important decision. Note: You can use an example from your own life to help clearly explain your point.
    • Discuss your potential topic for the justification report (a workplace problem – see Assignment 2.1 details) then determine which criteria you intend to use to help make your decision. Be sure to cite two (2) reasons why you chose those criteria.

Thank you for the opportunity to help you with your question!

criteria is the plural  of the word criterion. criterion is a systematic way of making a decision. criteria work first as a test  and as a comparative basis to assess which decision scan be made over the other. A good example from life is where you want to purchase commodities such as clothes. The criteria could encompass the cost and material among others which influence your final decision.

A potential problem would be setting policies on the dress code in a corporate setting. there are various criteria which can be used such as culture, clients being served among others. in such cases, i would choose culture because i am dealing with people. cultures affect peoples dressing preferences. i would also consider the clients being served, are they religious or secular? this may influence the dress code in a company.

Hope this did assist. Please let me know if you need any clarification. I'm always happy to answer your questions. I will be pleased if you make me your private tutor. Thank you
