Throughout this semester, we will apply what we learn in Living with Art to a discussion of public monuments. Our purpose is to have conversations that build teamwork, communication, social responsibility, and critical thinking skills in preparation for the group project: a position statement on what to do with monuments that come under criticism for being offensive. Note: This topic can stir very strong emotions. Please keep your postings professional and focused on the required information. Listen to each other and be thoughtful. Avoid inappropriate language and treat the diverse perspectives of all members of your group with respect. For this discussion, we reflect on our group's postings about censorship and removal of confederate monuments.  Here are your instructions: Go back to Module Four via the Modules list. Read your groupmates' postings from M4 Discussion Censorship and the Monument Debate. Write a 100-word reflecting on what you read. You still do not need to offer solutions.(That comes in the next module!). First, identify 2 points made by groupmates that you agree with. Explain why you agree. Next, identify 2 points you disagree with. Explain why you disagree. Finally, identify 1 point that made you think differently about the issue. Explain why it made you think differently.
