(a) Balance the equation. 

2Al + 3Cl2   ---->   2AlCl3

(b) How many moles of AlCl3 are produced from 2.75 mole of Cl2?

mol AlC3 = ( 2 mol AlCl3 / 3 mol Cl2) * 2.75 mol Cl2 = 1.83 molCl2(answer) 

c) What is the molar mass of AlCl3?

molar mass AlCl3 = atomic mass Al + 3 * atomic mass Cl = (26.98) + (3 * 35.45) = (26.98) + 106.35 = 133.33 g/mol (answer) 

d)  Calculate the number of grams of AlCl3 produced from 2.75 mol Cl2.

grams AlCl3 = (2 mol AlCl3 /3 mol Cl2) * (133.33 g AlCl3 / 1 mol AlCl3) * 2.75 mol Cl2

 = 244.44 g (answer)
