(Dress code policy) I was wondering if certain medical offices did partner with uniform
distributors for lower prices, though. Would it make sense to possibly
hire a certain vendor to supply all uniforms? I was wondering if a better approach to this issue might be to set criteria for allowing a certain vendor to be the exclusive provider of uniforms. What is your take? What is the problem that you are seeking in the Justification Report?
Thank you for the opportunity to help you with your question!
Dress code code is one way of ensuring uniformity and unity in an organization. Most firms usually contract one supplier to supply these clothes to the staff. There is usually nothing wrong with this. However, some firms charge their employees more than they could get the same clothes elsewhere thus making the whole idea ill-fated. In my opinion, a certain vendor should be contracted to provide these uniforms at a fair price. This will eliminate cases of varied uniforms which may erode the whole idea of the uniforms. Thus it is justified to have a dress code and a vendor supplying these clothes.
